NPB Recovery
Womens Rehab
We take the most up to date evidence based approach to help women heal and recover from addiction.
What Is Women's Rehab?
Many women looking for a healthier and sober lifestyle come to NPB recovery knowing the environment’s #1 priority is to be nurturing, supportive, and compassionate. Our staff understands how substance abuse can be intertwined with the complexities of life. This includes traumas, societal expectations, and nurturing roles that are part of our healing process.
It is important for women to connect with other women in sobriety to heal from past wounds, develop confidence, and quit using. Our facility at West Palm Beach offers expert care, evidence based therapies, and a community of women that can be life changing.
Key Features of a Women's Rehab
- Trauma-Informed Care: Many women who battle addiction are also battling trauma. In most situations this trauma causes substance abuse. Our master level clinicians address the trauma by providing a safe space to address them. As we heal from our past wounds we are able to fix our present life.
- Mental Health Support: Drug addiction in itself is a mental health challenge. When a woman is addicted to drugs she is typically battling anxiety, PTSD, and/or depression simultaneously. By offering mental health support we are able to provide our clients with a holistic approach.
- Family Support: Many women are caregivers, sisters, moms, and friends. Repairing relationships is a focal point of recovery and we offer family support to everyone involved in your recovery.
- Women Empowerment: Sometimes women will use substances due to low self-esteem. Women can also have low self-esteem from being addicted. It causes this vicious cycle that the NPB knows well. NPB Recovery is committed to helping women rebuild their confidence and quit their addictions for good.
Women's Rehab at NPB Recovery
No two situations are the same when it comes to recovery, so every woman receives a tailored treatment plan to provide the highest chances of recovery. Any woman who enters our facility is treated with compassion and respect, and that starts with individualized care.
Although recovery programs will vary person to person, here are some components that most women can expect when they choose NPB Recovery:
- Assessments: Before diving into a recovery plan we need to assess your challenges, triggers, your past, and your desired future. An addiction specialist will be able to help you do that to set you forth on your first step to the road to recovery.
- One-on-One Therapy: Individual therapy focuses on the pressing problems caused by clients' substance abuse and their efforts to remain abstinent. Each woman is assigned a therapist who will endeavor to establish a close, honest relationship based on mutual trust and commitment to recovery.
- Group Therapy Sessions: These groups are designed to help clients during and after treatment with specific recovery and life skills. It provides a forum for therapists and group leaders to pass on important information, teach new skills, and guide clients.
- Holistic Healing Activities: These holistic activities include yoga, meditation, art and other activities that help connect the mind, body, and soul. into daily schedules to support mental and physical well-being.
- Life Skills Training: Recovery is about replacing bad addictions with better habits. Our program not just focuses on getting rid of substances but adding in components that keep you sober. Our Life skill training includes budgeting, time management, and staying healthy, and more skills that will help you lead a fulfilling life.
Supportive Alumni Program: Your journey begins after rehab! Our alumni coordinator provides ongoing resources, counseling, and support to ensure you reach the ultimate goal - Long Term Sobriety!
