West Palm Beach residents are often busy. The idea behind our intensive outpatient program is you shouldn’t have to wait a long time to achieve a sober and healthy lifestyle. While there are several inpatient services available in West Palm Beach, they often have long waiting lists and are more expensive.
For many people in Palm Beach, inpatient care in a hospital, clinic, rehab, or other facility can be challenging as people often have family or work commitments that prevent them from entering full time care. If someone is in this spot it is recommended they join an intensive outpatient program. If they are in Palm Beach county we recommend North Palm's IOP. They still get intensive treatment but they are able to reside at home.
Oftentimes, our intensive outpatient programs are able to ensure a more prompt start date, are less money out of your pocket, and give you the flexibility to reside in your home. We recommend that individuals participate in therapy for at least 90 days to ensure a sustainable recovery.
The duration and structure of an IOP will depend on the person, how much of the substance was being consumed, and how long they have been using the drugs. Programs typically range from 30, 60, or 90 day programs.
IOP will involve a mixture of individual counseling, group therapy, and educational sessions. Clients meet multiple times a week, but work within a schedule allowing them to maintain their daily responsibilities.
